Selection Criteria
All submissions were fully anonymised and evaluated through a rigorous four-stage process: technical screening, transfer to local juries, individual review by jurors using a 40-question assessment tool, and final validation by a Higher Committee — ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with the competition’s goals of biodiversity, climate adaptation, sustainability, and inclusiveness.

The winning concept designs will now enter a development phase, where the winning teams will collaborate closely with local municipalities and contracting firms, guided by expert mentors in sustainable landscape design.

The designs will also be opened for public consultation through innovative online participatory tools — because the communities these spaces serve deserve a say in shaping them.
