To ensure transparency, fairness, and consistency across all submissions, the 4GREEN SPACES competition has updated its eligibility criteria and participation rules. All applicants are kindly asked to review these updates carefully before submitting or finalizing their registration.
Team Composition
Each team must include a minimum of two members and a maximum of five members, including the team leader.
Individual participation is not permitted.
Multiple graduates or teaching staff members cannot be part of the same team.
National Eligibility
All team members must be Palestinian citizens.
Participants from areas without a Palestinian ID or Jerusalem (blue) ID are not eligible.
Participants holding a Jerusalem (blue) ID are eligible, provided they are not affiliated with Israeli institutions.
Individuals affiliated with Israeli universities, whether as students or teaching staff, are not eligible to participate.
Team Leader Requirements
Each team must designate one team leader, who must meet one of the following conditions:
- Be a licensed architect or planner registered with the Engineers Syndicate, or
- Be an academic instructor with valid proof of employment.
Entire offices or single participants are not eligible to apply.
Site Visits
Teams are encouraged to attend site visits in person whenever possible.
However, if a team cannot attend, it is permitted to:
- Send a fieldworker to represent the team during the site visit, or
- Conduct a remote site visit, provided that a written justification is submitted explaining the reason for non-attendance.
